Celebrating New Year in Hong Kong

Five, four, three, two, one... Happy New Year!!!
Each December 31st we gather with family and friends to usher in the new year, we make resolutions to better ourselves in terms of getting rid of poor habits, picking up good ones, taking better care of ourselves and the people around us, learning to manage our lives better etc. This year was a little bit different for me because I've celebrated New Year in Hong Kong with no lists of new year's resolutions at all which I used to do some years ago and it was the first time I am away from family and friends but I am grateful though. I got my sister Loida and her husband who used to be like my father so I have enough reason to celebrate this special occasion ahead. New Year in Hong Kong was pretty much overwhelming. The countdown is amazing, food is awesome and wonderful people. It was indeed a great new year. Wishing everyone a great life, happy and a prosperous new year - cheers and hello 2014! ***Fireworks display***

Sharing with you here some of our photos and a short clip from the countdown.
